When do potatoes ship?
Potatoes are a weather dependent item. The suppliers won't ship them till they are sure that they won't freeze during trucking to a stores location. Then the same thing goes for shipping from us to you. Freezing will hurt the chance of the spud being successful in propagating, or will rot once you put them in the ground. Being a northern climate city, here in Spokane, Washington, we normally do not see our shipment arrive till the last week of February to the first week of March. Then there is another few days to get these items stored and stocked on our shelves before I can get my hands on them for shipping. Short answer is that they usually start shipping the first to second week of March.
